7th Grade Students and Parents

I have asked that all students who failed to submit their homework today write a letter to their parents and have it signed as to why they did not have it completed.
Students were told that they would be given homework over the extended weekend. They were given the assignment on Wednesday and it was due today, this totaled six days to complete the work and many students came with nothing done. I am trying to stress the importance of time organization and extension at home so that during class time, we can have critical thinking and discussion.
